We are coming to Disney World in August and have a son with Cerebral Palsy - Can you use a UK Blue disabled parking badge to get a Guest Assistance Card if not what do you need??

    Hi Charlotte,

Your family must be so excited about your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World!

If you haven't already done so, I highly recommend that you read Passporter's Open Mouse for Walt Disney World and the Disney Cruise Line written by Deb Wills and Debra Martin Koma.  This guide for guests with disabilities offers tons of useful advice.  In the book, the authors suggest that guests are not required to provide a doctor's note or a disabled parking badge to obtain a Guest Assistance Card at the Guest Relations desks of Disney's theme parks.  Simply bring your son with you to the Guest Relations desk and explain his specific needs.

Wishing you and your family a vacation sprinkled with extra pixie dust!
