Hi! Coming over to Disney World, in August and I'm trying to find out whether I can get basic groceries, to keep my hungry 6 year old going, from the gift shops in Animal Kingdom Lodge? Thanks for your help,  :-)

    Hi Katie!
You should have no problem helping your little one fuel up or refuel with snacks from the resort gift shop. Although not a true grocery store, most resorts on property have at least one gift shop that stocks basic snacks, milk, drinks, and sundries that  can be purchased and kept in the room. Another option to consider is the Garden Grocer, a resort grocery delivery service. You can preorder items for your room and they will deliver to your resort. Plus, the resort will store items for you if you have not yet arrived. You would need to provide your name, order and reservation number, and they will take care of the rest. They are extremely reliable and I would highly recommend them. There is a minimum amount that needs to be ordered and delivery charges added to the bill. Here's their website: http://www.gardengrocer.com .
Hopefully one of these two options is helpful to you. Good Luck and I wish you a Magical stay!! :)
