Hi, I am coming to Disney world in Aug of 2013 and I have a 14yr old teen I am bringing with me. She has cancer and is still going thru treatments. I would like to make this trip special for her. Is there any suggestions? Anything would help thank you

Hi Terri.  What a wonderful trip you are planning for your daughter.  I'm sure you have had some trying times, and a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth is sure to bring some much needed joy to both of you.  Just spending time together at the Walt Disney World Resort will be special, but there are many ways to enhance what is sure to be a memorable vacation.

From Princess gifts (not just for little ones), to Recognition Buttons, to Special Dining Experiences and more, you are sure to find special customized options for your daughter.

One of my favorite ways to make a trip special is to book the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage on Seven Seas Lagoon,  adjacent to Magic Kingdom Park.  Kids of all ages enjoy this joyous and entertaining trip.

As a side note Terri, you may want to visit Guest Services at any of the Four Major Parks regarding any specific  needs your daughter might have while going through her treatment.

I hope I've given you some good ideas, Terri.  I wish you a MAGICAL vacation filled with beautiful moments.
