We will coming to Disney world Aug. 2010. I want to stay on property but we have 5 in our family 3 kids 4 8 10 Trying to figure out best opt. budget is a concern looking at Family suite As music or connecting rooms at all star or port or trundle room port?

Hello Shannon!  I also come from a family of 5 and I hear your concerns.  When budget is a concern we usually opt for 2 connecting rooms at the All Stars or Pop Century and this has always worked out well for us.  You'll have 4 beds, 2 bathrooms (can be a lifesaver!), 2 TVs, etc.  The family suite would also be a great option but I can usually find a better deal by booking 2 regular rooms at the value resorts.

We've also stayed at Port Orleans in a trundle bed room.  We enjoyed our stay but for the room itself, we found it better for our family to go with the two rooms at the values for the extra convenience of more beds and bathrooms.

You'll also want to keep an eye on Disney's special offers page for any room discounts that may be available to you.  I also like to visit mousesavers.com as they have discounts posted for anything related to Disney travel - from rental cars to room discounts.

I hope this helps and please let us know if you have any other questions!  Diane
