I am coming to Disney World on April 17th with my 12 yr. old grandson. He has dyspraxia, which makes it hard for him to walk sometimes. He is also emotional disturbed, and has ADHD. the ADHD makes it hard for him to wait in lines. Is there a special pass?

    Hi Leona,

The Walt Disney World Resort works very hard to make sure that guests who need extra pixie dust have the best experience possible.

The Guest Assistance Card is offered to guests who have special needs. It is issued to guests from the Guest Services team at any of the four major parks. This team will assess the need of the card and I encourage you to bring as much documentation available to support your grandson's need for this card.

I also recommend you contact the team at Guests with Disabilities. Their job is to help assists guests with special needs. They can recommend tips to make your stay easier.

Also, if you have a smart phone, I encourage you to use the My Disney Experience to look at wait times which will help reduce waits. Also, try playing games in line like Rock, Paper, Scissors or other games to pass the time. Even a snack, drink or reading a book or playing a game will make it go faster.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
