Hi Shelley,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. You are going to be in Walt Disney World in just a few sleeps! I’m so excited for you.
I love those Disney Resort Refillable Mugs – in fact, my husband and I just had an, ahem, disagreement about whether we needed to keep all of the mugs in our (quite sizeable) stash. If you’re not on the Disney Dining Plan, you will have the option to purchase a mug at any resort Quick Service location, and the mug will be good for “length of stay.” In my experience, Shelley, this works out to about two weeks from your check-in date. You will absolutely be able to use the mug on your checkout date, and possibly even a little beyond. When you set your mug down on the soda fountain, you will see a small digital screen on the machine; this screen will show you the expiration date for your mug. I also want to note that these mugs can be refilled at any resort Quick Service location and many pool bars; they may not be refilled inside the theme parks.
Shelley, I’m wishing you the best time at Walt Disney World Resort! I just got back from a magical vacation, and we loved the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. The Spike’s Pollen Nation scavenger hunt was really fun (and not just for the kids – those teeny bees are adorable), and I could not get enough of the Frozen Dessert Violet Lemonade served at the Pineapple Promenade Outdoor Kitchen in the World Showcase. Between the great food, fun entertainment, and gorgeous topiaries, the Flower & Garden Festival is a must-do!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
