Hello Haydn! A warm welcome to planDisney from across the pond! How exciting that you and your family are visiting the
Most Magical Place On Earth in just a few weeks. You’ll be arriving during one of the best times of the year, the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival! It’s the perfect opportunity to sip, savor, and celebrate a world of flavors from around the globe. While exploring the festival, be sure to check out the culinary demonstrations, fun festival-themed merchandise, and live entertainment at the
Eat to the Beat Concert Series. There’s something for everyone to enjoy!
When it comes to purchasing an alcoholic beverage at Walt Disney World Resort, Guests who are 21 years of age or older
must present one of the following forms of identification: a valid U.S. state-issued driver’s license, a valid U.S. military ID, a valid original passport (copies will not be accepted), or a valid government-issued ID for international visitors. In your case, Haydn, your in-laws' original passports will be perfectly acceptable for enjoying an adult beverage during your visit.
For some of my favorite spots to enjoy a drink or two, I highly recommend starting with the
Enchanted Rose at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The atmosphere is perfect for winding down with a handcrafted cocktail. Another fantastic choice is
California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort, especially during the
Happily Ever After fireworks, which adds an extra bit of magic to the experience. While in EPCOT, be sure to indulge in a refreshing margarita from
La Cava del Tequila, a Viking coffee from
Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe in Norway, or a famous slush from
Les Vins des Chefs de France in the France Pavilion.
If you need any more help planning your holiday, Haydn,
don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m here to assist with anything else you may need, from dining reservations to must-see attractions.
Cheers,
Brent
