    We will be coming to Disney for 2nd time 4/16-20 and staying at the Contemporary with 5 yr old. Think it is crazy to do MK after we arrive? Wasn't planning on at first but since it is a qucik trip and we're so close, I thought why not. crowds then?

    Nothing is wrong or crazy when visiting Walt Disney World! You don't mention the time you arrive so not sure of the park hours on that day but whenever I stay in one of the resorts close to the Magic Kingdom I find that I often just hop on the monorail and head to the park to walk around and feel the magic if nothing else!  If you have park hopper tickets this makes it easy to come and go to the park from your resort.  There is a nice walking path from the Contemporary that is a faster way to get there since you have to do the full loop on the monorail.

    You are arriving the end of Easter week this year so you will find the crowds to be quite heavy for the first three days.  Make sure you have your dining reservations in place to not be disappointed. 407-939-3463  Take advantage of the ease of coming and going from the Magic Kingdom and if you can, definitely head there the first day to see perhaps an attraction or two.
