We will be coming to Disney over Thanksgiving and have purchased the deluxe dining plan. I am noticing most of the children's menu options are burgers, chicken strips and mac and cheese. My son is 8 and eats what we do. Can he order off the adult menu?

    Hi Mandy,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question! Although my kid can sometimes go through frustratingly picky phases, by and large, he eats what we eat too. Plus, he doesn’t like chicken fingers and burgers!

Although your son won’t be able to pick an “adult” meal as part of his child table service entitlements with the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan, several Walt Disney World Resort restaurants do have one or two selections on the kids menu that are more “adventurous”, especially for the "Disney Check” selections. I’ve found that to be the case in most Signature restaurants, as well as several of the more “exotic” restaurants in World Showcase at Epcot. Plus, if you have a chat with your server, they may be able to suggest a few modifications or substitutions in order to enhance his meal. We’ve had good experience with that, so please don’t hesitate to explore your little guy’s options when you’re seated.

I hope my answer helps you plan a delicious vacation for your entire family. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
