Hello Lee Ann,
You've overcome the first hurdle in planning your Disney vacation. The rest is easy peasy!
Are you a planner? Do you need your vacation laid out before you arrive in September? Then take a look at the
list of Disney Restaurants and decide what your family might enjoy. You can search the list by location or cuisine and dining experience. From there, you can make your dining reservations.
Or maybe you're like me and have a more carefree approach. Going through the list is still helpful so you have an idea of where you might want to inquire about availability when you arrive. My family never knows what Theme Park we'll be in so we fly by the seat of our pants many days!
When you arrive at Disney, I suggest taking a look through the information you receive from the Front Desk. It contains info on activities at your Resort, Theme Park opening and closing times, and much more. And watch a little TV. You might learn about an activity at another Resort that you didn't know about. From here, you can map out if there are other options you may have not considered that your family would really want to try.
Take it all in. After all - you are at the happiest place on earth! Get to know where things are located at your Resort. Then get to know the Theme Parks. Maybe your family really loved Toy Story Mania. Remember that so if you have extra time at the end of your trip, you maybe can sneak in another ride on the attraction.
On our arrival day, my family likes to lounge by the pool and relax before hitting the Theme Parks the next day. But I know others who
have to see Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom as soon as they get there. So it's really a personal preference.
Oh yes, and don't forget to have fun!
Good luck! And enjoy your magical vacation!
