    I am coming to Disney in Sept 2013 for a week, I was reading through the panel and saw someone mention something about the magic bands, is that replacing the tickets, if I purchase my tickets before leaving home will that affect anything? thank you!

    Howdy Megan!  There is a quite a buzz surrounding the Magic Bands and MyMagic+!  Disney is in the process of introducing a collection of innovative new tools to help personalize Guests Walt Disney World experience like never before.  Stay tuned for more information.

    I spoke with Walt Disney World Ticketing and was told currently, the Magic Band is still in a trial period and they do not yet know when it will be released to the public.  If you purchase your tickets before leaving home you will be fine.  Simply proceed to the turnstiles as you normally would.  If you have any challenges, go to Guest Services and they will assist you.

    I'm very excited to learn about everything Disney has in store with MyMagic+.  We all have many questions about the new enhancement.  I'm confident Disney will do all they can to educate us all about the new system once it is fully unveiled. 

    Enjoy your trip in September!!  It's one of my favorite times of year to visit Walt Disney World!
