We are coming to Disney in Sept. 2011 and I purchased the dining plan. How much should I plan on for gratuities? I am going to start booking some dinner reservations soon and I want to budget how much that would cost. I am taking my three children 12, 9, 6

Hi Jennifer! I love the dining plan! It makes it so easy to have all your meals covered. When they give you your receipt, they will have suggested tipping amounts, ranging from 15% to 20%. You have several choices in how to pay for tips - you can charge them to your room with your Key to the World card, use a credit card, or of course, pay in cash. Once you know your preferred restaurants, be sure to reserve ahead either online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE (939-3463). Check the Disney website or the Allears site to get an idea of what your meals will cost, so then you'll have a better idea of how much money to put aside for extras like appetizers, special beverages and gratuities.

    Have a magical vacation Jennifer!
