Coming to Disney in Sept. Looked at "Crowd Calendar" recommendations and it looks like the parks with EMH are not recommended on those days. I have young kids, 2&4. Are the crowds SIGNIFICANTLY reduced on days that the crowd calendars recom?

Hi Stacey! I am one of those Disney guests who usually plans our days in the parks because I want to be there and not because of the crowd calendars.  When a park has the Extra Magic Hours I do recommend taking advantage of that time as the crowds and lines are much less.  But we always have the Park Hopper options and when a park seems to crowd us out we just hop to another. If we have dining reservations we find the attractions with the smaller lines or head to watch entertainment. Unfortunately the calendars are done by past numbers and experience and one thing I have found is that just because something happened a year or two ago doesn't mean it will happen for the next year. Use all the information as a guide but not as if it is written in stone. Crowds in September in general are not too bad although with the special free dining offered it will attract more guests. Do the best you can when planning and have options for your days when possible.
