i am coming to Disney in sept for a long weekend and i made sure i booked the pirates for my 7 year nephew and the princess boutique for my 6 year old. His appt is at 9am and her is 12 how far apart are they in wdw and will i miss a meet and greet?

    Hi Margaret!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

If your appointment for your 6 year old is in the Magic Kingdom then you have nothing to worry about!  It is about a 10 to 15 minute walk, depending on how fast you walk, between the two locations.  However, if your appointment for your 6 year old is in Downtown Disney then that's a different story.  That said, you should still be okay, but I would plan on it taking about an hour using Disney transportation; in fact, if you want to be sure you are not late, then I would plan on 90 minutes for the trip from the Magic Kingdom to Downtown Disney.  However, most of the time it really will take less than an hour.  If you find you are pressed for time, you can take a taxi from the Magic Kingdom to Downtown Disney.  I would plan on that trip taking about 40 minutes and I suggest first walking from the Magic Kingdom to the Contemporary and then taking a taxi from the Contemporary to Downtown Disney; I think that will be faster than taking the monorail or the ferry to the Transportation and Ticket Center and then catching a taxi there.

I think you will be fine with both appointments and both are fabulous experiences.  I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
