Hello Tammy,
My family truly believes Disney World is more than just about the Theme Parks (although we
really love the Parks too!). So we spend a lot of time at our Resort.
When we recently stayed at
Saratoga Springs Resort, my daughter really enjoyed checking out the programs inside Community Hall. They had games and arts and crafts. When you check-in, you'll be given a list of scheduled programs tailored for kids. It's great! Also, Disney does Movie Under the Stars. At SSR, you can watch a Disney movie by the pool in the evenings. It was yet another thing my daughter loved to do!
As for what to do while in the Parks, I think both of your sons will really enjoy some of the classics like It's a Small World, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Toy Story Midway Mania. But don't forget that character meet-and-greets. They're an inexpensive way to keep the kids entertained while they get to interact with their favorite friends!
Hope this helps! Enjoy your trip!
