Coming to Disney for our second trip in May 2013. My sons are 18 and 13. We stayed in a value resort on our previous trip in 2009. We think we would like to stay at a moderate with more ammenities and a little more laid back atmosphere. Any suggestions

    Hi Loree!

My Moderate Resort recommendation for you is Disney's Port Orleans - French Quarter. I have stayed there twice and I absolutely loved it each time! My favorite parts about Port Orleans French Quarter is that it is a compact, incredible Resort with great rooms, an awesome pool with a waterslide, and a great food court. All of the buildings in French Quarter were very close to the main lobby which houses the food court, gift shop, and the Disney bus stops. The rooms have Queen beds and double sinks in the bathroom area as well as a curtain that separates the bathroom area from the sleeping area. French Quarter is the perfect Resort for those who prefer the less busy, quiet Resort feeling. Also Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside is an incredible Moderate Resort to stay at but it definitely is a lot larger, more spread out Resort.

I hope that you and your sons create some magical memories on your next trip to Walt Disney World!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
