Hiya Arshana! Welcome to planDisney! Greetings from this side of the Atlantic!
Oh boy! I'm excited about your upcoming holiday to the Walt Disney World Resort this year! It's never too early to start the planning process, especially for a lengthy visit like yours! You've picked a great place to stay. Both
Disney's Port Orleans Resort- Riverside and
French Quarter are beautiful locations that are packed with an incredible amount of charm. You are in for a magical stay!
Arshana, if you booked your ticket package together with your resort stay, your next step will be to make
park pass reservations for each day of your trip. You can make these reservations now by logging in to your My Disney Experience account. Select "Park Reservations" followed by "Make a Park Reservation". Follow the prompts to make your park selection for the number of park days you are allotted. Park reservations are required to enter the first park you visit each day, so make sure to secure these as soon as you can. You will be able to make changes to these selections leading up to your holiday, but keep in mind that this will be dependent on availability.
Advanced Dining Reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance of your arrival day. Since you are staying at a Disney Resorts Hotel during your trip, you can make reservations for your entire length of stay (up to 10 days). You'll be able to make the bulk of these on that first day, then for the last four days of your stay, you'll need to make reservations each day at the 60-day mark. I suggest using this time you have to research all of the dining locations you plan to eat at and prioritize which places are most important to you. Then, on your dining reservation day, start with those reservations first to make sure you secure your top choices.
Arshana, I hope this information helps you plan for your upcoming trip! There is nothing quite like looking forward to a Walt Disney World holiday!
Happy planning!
