Hi Sophie!
Welcome to planDisney!
It is always a pleasure to answer questions from my fellow guests from the UK, and this is a great question as Florida has such a different climate to England.
I have had the pleasure of visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth in both October and November and have never had the need to wear anything warmer than shorts and t-shirts throughout the whole day, into evening. You might want to pack a lightweight hoodie just in case the temperature drops too much after sundown, or even to wear in a restaurant if you find the air conditioning too fierce. During the day it's definitely been warm enough to enjoy a swim! A bonus is that the humidity level is much lower than during the Summer months.
Of course, the temperature can change. I had a look at the BBC weather app, and it shows the average temperature for this last week in November in Orlando is around 27 degrees Celsius, but next week it drops to around 20 degrees Celsius. Compare that to the average temperature in England this week, which is around 7 degrees! I know which temperature I prefer! It's probably a good idea to pack a couple of warmer items - maybe a pair of jeans and a couple of long-sleeved t-shirts - just in case of lower temperatures, but in my experience October/November is a very pleasant time to visit Walt Disney World Resort.
No confirmation has been made yet about whether
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will take place in 2021, but keep watching the
Disney Parks Blog for all the latest information, as it is announced. If tickets become available, these can be purchased from the UK by calling freephone 0800 028 0778. I highly recommend attending both of these wonderful events at
Magic Kingdom Park!
Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. If you have any UK-specific questions you are welcome to send a question direct to me, or post a question on the planDisney site for any panelist to answer. We are very happy to help you plan your magical holiday!
