Hello Kelly! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Mom's Panel with your question. There are so many things I love about Walt Disney World and one of them is the thought and care put into meeting the needs of every single Guest who passes through the gates. Disney is committed to making a trip to the Parks a happy, magical experience for every single person and that includes those with special needs. For this reason, they have made the
Disability Service Access Card available to those who have unique needs of any kind. When you arrive in the Park, make a stop at Guest Relations to request your card. Please be sure you have your entire party with you as the Cast Member there will need to make note of how many people are with you. This card will allow you to schedule a return time for an Attraction of your choosing, based on the current wait time. After you have visited that Attraction, you can return to Guest Services or visit kiosks around the Park to request another one. Take a look
HERE at all of the many ways Disney meets the needs of those with disabilities and please spend a few minutes
HERE reading about the Disabiity Access Service Card and how it can work for you. I have a grandson who is also on the autism spectrum so I completely understand how challenging it can be to wait in long lines. The Disability Access Service Card has been a lifesaver for him, his parents, and his little sister. It has made going to Disney Parks a happy, carefree experience for all of them.
Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to help you as you plan your magical Walt Disney World trip. Have a wonderful day!
