Hi Moms! We are coming to Disney in November. I was wondering if California Grill is appropriate for a 4 and a 1 year old. Other dinners I have in mind are: Sanaa, Ohana, Ragland Road,Boma, Whispering Canyon, and Toyko Dining. What else would you recommend?

Hi Devon! I love visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in November. It has always been my experience that the weather tends to be great, crowds aren’t always so busy, and there are some extra fun events happening!

As much as I am in love with California Grill, I wouldn’t recommend taking children. It is a fancy restaurant and the atmosphere is quite intimate. From my personal experience, my children would never last through a meal at a restaurant like this.

I do however love some of your other ideas! I think that Whispering Canyon would be a great fun place to visit with young children. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is exciting, and I love that there is an area to entertain kids with some of my favorite childhood toys like Lincoln logs! ‘Ohana is also another great choice. It actually is my favorite restaurant. I have never been disappointed with the food here as a matter of fact I usually find myself eating until I can barley move! There are activities that get the kids up and moving, and my daughter has even been serenaded by a kind cast member playing island style music.

One more restaurant that we love is The Garden Grill at Epcot. The food is farm fresh and I love that this restaurant rotates through the Living with the Land attraction. The meal is served family-style and you can meet some of your favorite Disney characters such as Chip and Dale!

Remember that advanced dining reservations are always recommended and can be made 180 days from your arrival date!

I hope that I have helped to answer some of your questions! Have a magical vacation and I hope you enjoy some of the many delicious dining choices offered throughout the Walt Disney World Resort!
