We are coming to Disney, November 27 through Dec 1. I cannot afford to bring my whole family (5) to the Christmas party. I know there is one night (Nov 28th) that they don't have the party so we can stay late at the park. Do they still have a parade

    Hi Jill,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question about your 2018 visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

Although Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a truly wonderful event, it can get quite pricey to attend with a large family. As of right now, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade only has showtimes during the actual Party itself. From what I understand, it won’t be offered in November when Magic Kingdom Park is open to all Guests with a regular Theme Park Ticket.

That being said, if joining the Holiday festivities is important to you and your family, if you’re considering the purchase of multi-day Theme Park Tickets during your upcoming vacation, you might want to consider removing one of your “days” of Park visits. Depending on the type of Tickets you were planning to purchase, the savings might help offset the cost of your family’s tickets to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. You could then choose to relax at your hotel prior to the event, or even go to visit Disney Springs that morning if you were looking for some non-ticketed fun!

I hope my answer helps you plan your upcoming vacation. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
