Coming to Disney 2/13 for 6 nights. Have the dining plan. Do I need dinner reservations prior to arriving for each evening or will I be able to find seating just by walking in to a restaurant? We have 4 adults and 3 children.

Hello Brian and welcome to the Disney Parks Mom´s Panel.

Wow you are almost there, only a month away!
As you well know, you will be visiting during Valentines and Presidents weekend, so you should expect some high crowds at the parks as well as at the restaurants.
So advance dining reservations are highly recommended for table-service restaurants, especially for a group of seven.
Counter-service restaurants do not take reservations, so you will have to look for your table.

Advance dining reservations can be book through phone (407-939-3463) or at Walt Disney World website, up to 180 days in advance.

I do not recommend walking into Disney restaurants to find a table without a reservation.  For my family, dining is a very important part of our vacation and it is our main relaxing time.

Of course you will be able to find a table after some waiting, but not always.

If you are having trouble finding reservations at your preferred times, you can try breakfast after 10:30 am, lunches at 11:00 am or after 1:30 pm or early dinners.
Snacks can help fill the gaps that these times may create on your child's eating habits.

Happy to help you plan a magical Disney vacation.
Hope to hear more from you.
