I am coming to Disney next week.....I would like to show my daughter some of the hotel dercorations. Can you please tell me what is at some of the hotels? I have read about edible items and a carasol?

    Hi Danielle,

What a perfect plan!  The Disney resorts over the holidays are truly stunning and magical.

At the Boardwalk Inn, you'll find a gingerbread holiday gazebo as well as Stitch's Bakery Storefront where assorted baked goods such as stollen and miniature gingerbread houses are for sale. Click here to see more.

At the Contemporary Resort, there is 17 foot tall decorated gingerbread tree.  You will also be able to purchase gingerbread cookies, shingles, and ornaments.

At Disney's Grand Floridian, there is a life-size gingerbread house filled with many, many holiday treats that guests can buy.

At Disney's Yacht and Beach Club, there is a life-size, edible carousel that actually spins in addition to a miniature train village. You will be able to also purchase lots of yummy goodies here as well.  On Fridays and Saturdays between 2 and 4 pm, children can decorate their own gingerbread men at the Beach Club lobby. Click here to see more on the resort's decorations.

I also have to mention that both the Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge have equally beautiful holiday decorations in their lobbies.

Enjoy all the holiday fun as your tour the resorts and make sure to keep an eye out for hidden mickeys!  Please let us know if you have any further questions.
