Hello! We are coming to Disney next month. Normally we drive but are flying for the first time. Is there a variety store close by to buy snacks and things like a case of water for in our room instead of using up all of our snacks on meal plan?

    Howdy, Lindsay!

Having snacks handy is at the top of the list for me and especially my children when we are at Disney.

You can purchase some snacks from the quick service dining area at your resort. To keep from using your snack credits, you can bring along a Disney gift card that you can use only for snack purchases outside of the dining plan.

Typically, when we fly, I pack an entire suitcase full of our favorite snack and water. I check this luggage with the airline, place a yellow tag on it from our Magical Express reservation, so that Cast Members can bring it to our room later in the day. Some airlines don't charge for bags, which helps our budget. But some have a minimal charge, which still allows us to bring along all the snacks we desire. And once our Disney vacation is over and all of the snacks are eaten, we have extra luggage to put all of our Disney souvenirs in!

Last, you can use a delivery service such as Amazon Prime, Walmart shipping, or a local grocery store, such as Garden Grocer to deliver the food items that you secured online. Just be sure to add your Disney resort's physical address. You can pick up your package from the front desk or Bell Services.

I hope this gives you an idea of how to bring along your favorite food items to have with you during this trip! Stop by and see us again, if you have more questions!

    Happy planning,
