We're coming to Disney May 7 thru May 13. I've purchased a 5d basic park pass w/out the hopper (can't hop much with toddlers). If we wanted to visit AK one day (closes at 5) then move to another park, could we use another 'day' to enter the other park?

    Hello Mary!

Unfortunately with the Magic Your Way base ticket, you can only visit one park per day. You will not be permitted to use two "days" worth of tickets to enter two different parks in one day. When you scan your ticket upon arrival at one of the parks, it is electronically marked and won't be accepted at another park's turnstile unless you have the park hopper option added. There really isn't any way around this rule, it's ironclad.

If you don't wish to add park hopping to your tickets there are other things you can do in the evening after visiting the Animal Kingdom during the day. Consider spending time at your resort pool or walking around Downtown Disney which doesn't require park admission. You could also make dinner reservations at another resort that you think you might like to stay at on a future visit or "resort hop" and check out some of the other resorts on property.

I hope you have a wonderful vacation!
