Coming to Disney May 30. This will be my kids first visit. So excited. Thinking about going to Chip n Dale campfire singalong. Is it good idea/OK to bring hotdogs/ marshmallows to roast? or get fr.chick from Trails to go and eat at beach or at campfire?

    Tabitha:

You'll see plenty of families with their own marshmallows over the two fire pits at Chip 'n' Dale's campfire singalong. You can also purchase kits at the canteen located at the back of the bleachers. I don't know that I've ever seen hotdogs, though. But would imagine you could roast them if you'd like.

I think it's a better idea to grab a bucket of chicken from Trail's End. You'll find plenty of seating at the beach. I don't know if it is worth hauling the chicken all the way to the campfire as it is a good 1/4 to 1/3 mile walk from Pioneer Hall.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
