We are coming to Disney May 22-27. We like the idea of Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party... My question is: Our son is in a wheelchair, will he be able to see the fireworks if it is standing room only?

    Hi Heather,
Your trip is coming up very soon - and May will be a lovely time to visit!

I had a chance to speak to the good people at Disney Dining (407-WDW-DINE) about this.  They assure me that they are able to accommodate guests in wheelchairs.  They recommend that when you make your reservation,  have them make a note that one of the guests in your party is in a wheelchair.  And of course, remind the hostess when you arrive for the party.  Disney is the best at making sure every guest has a magical experience!

Heather, have a wonderful vacation with your family!

Walt Disney World stole my heart when my parents introduced me to the magic the year it opened. I fondly remember my first 'Mickey Mouse in a Glass House' balloon! I still visit with my parents-and now with my husband and our two teens. Learn More About Lynn
