Hi, we are coming to Disney on the 7th of may and come home the 21st of may. We land at 1pm on the 7th and come home at 6pm on the 21st which is 15 days. If we have a 14 day park ticket, we can’t visit the park every day? And need one rest day?

Hiya, Christopher! Thanks for reaching out to us at planDisney. It’s always nice to make a new friend!

I have to admit something to you. And since we’re friends now, I feel I can. I’m a bit jealous of our Guests from the U.K. who get to take advantage of the great 14-day ticket deals! I’ve been to the Walt Disney World Resort so many times, but I don’t think I’ve stayed there even half that time in one visit. And you’re going in the middle of the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, which is taking place from March 4 to June 1, 2026? Now that makes me even more jealous. Actually, you know what? I changed my mind. I’m just really happy for you.

Since you have a 14-day theme park ticket and will be at the resort for 15 days, yes, there would be one day that you’re there when you wouldn’t be able to go into a park. However, if you really wanted to go all 15 days, you can purchase admission for one day when you’re at the resort. Just note that typically, single-day theme park tickets are the most expensive option for visiting the parks.

Now, did you know that typically these 14-day ticket deals for U.K. residents also include entrance to the water park that is open? And they usually include access to Winter Summerland Miniature Golf or Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf, Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course, and the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex (excluding separately ticketed events). And what's more, you can usually redeem these at any time during your ticket window, not just on the14 days you use your theme park admission. Just check the Terms & Conditions of the particular ticket deal you've purchased.

Also, if you want to go to a great Disney destination that doesn’t require theme park admission, don’t overlook Disney Springs. The shopping and food are outstanding, but there are also fun activities like live entertainment, the Aerophile, Vintage Amphicar Tours, and so much more. For me, it’s all about the food. Drop me off at Disney Springs, fill me up with sweet and savory treats, and I’m a happy camper.

Christopher, enjoy your two-week getaway to the Most Magical Place on Earth, friend. If you have any other questions, please let me know.

    We’re all in this together,
    Matt
