Hi. We are coming to Disney this March and i have a 3 year old. Can he ride any rides at all? He loves cars and toy story. If not i might change plans. And why does he need a ticket when he cant ride the rides?

Hey howdy hey, Darrellynn! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this great question. Your little guy is about the same age as my son, and I promise there's plenty for him to do at Walt Disney World!

In Magic Kingdom Park, you can say howdy to Woody and Jessie in Frontierland, and visit Buzz Lightyear in Tomorrowland. Then, hop aboard Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, a slow-moving ride that makes you a Space Ranger, battling evil Emperor Zurg with your laser shooter.

Over at Disney's Hollywood Studios, Woody and Buzz greet Guests together at Pixar Place, and your son can pose with Lightning McQueen and Mater near the Streets of America section of the park.

There are so many great rides for little ones, too! Be sure to visit Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom for Peter Pan's Flight, the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid, Prince Charming Regal Carrousel, and lots more. Just look for any attraction without a height restriction, and he can ride. For more ideas for little ones, see the Preschoolers page on the Disney website.

Darrellynn, I just know you'll make magical memories with your little guy at Walt Disney World. If you need more ideas, please let us know. We're always here to help!

    Have a magical day!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
