We are coming to Disney in March and I am trying to make reservations for a character breakfast. Our children are 1 and 4, and I am looking at chef mickey and the cape may. I was wondering if someone could tell me the differences in the two?

    Hi Amber!

You picked my two favorite Disney Character Breakfasts so it's not an easy decision.  Both are fabulous!  Both are also buffets and the food is similar at both.

Chef Mickey's is more famous and I think the energy level is a little higher there.  Chef Mickey's is located in the Contemporary Resort, making it very easy to go from breakfast straight to the Magic Kingdom.  Also, it's exciting to ride the monorail after breakfast.

Cape May Cafe is more subdued, but I think the food is better.  After breakfast, you have to take a bus to a theme park (or walk to Epcot).  The characters are in beach outfits which makes very unique photo opportunities.

You really can't go wrong either way.   Good luck with your decision, and write back if you have any more questions!
