Coming to Disney 3/2024. Looking to purchase tickets w/Sam's club. Rain predicted every day. If need be, can we reschedule our tics for available future dates w/ a 2 day pass & how? Is there any requirement to do so by a certain point?

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Heather!

Thanks for stopping by with an excellent Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney! You've come to the right place for assistance with your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation. (It looks like it's just days away, too!) I'm happy to help your club of Mouseketeers prepare for a magical and memorable trip.

Heather, I understand that the forecast looks "less-than-swell" during your upcoming visit. Not to worry! While the theme parks are still a good time, rain or shine, I'm happy to inform you that you likely have some flexibility with your theme park admission dates. Date-based multi-day theme park tickets must be used within their valid use period, Heather. (For example, all entitlements from a 2-day ticket must be used within four days of the selected start date.) However, if a theme park ticket expires after being wholly unused, its value can typically be applied to the purchase of a new, unexpired ticket! It's important to keep in mind that if any ticketed days on a multi-day ticket are used, any remaining entitlements will expire and be lost at the end of the valid use period.

If the tickets you'll be purchasing are date-based, meaning you do not select a start date for the ticket at any point during the checkout process, then you won't need to worry about making theme park reservations for your visit, Heather. However, some theme park ticket types do still require theme park reservations, so I encourage you to look into this (and make these reservations, if required) as soon as possible. If you decide you'd like to change the start date of your tickets, I recommend reaching out to the friendly Cast Members at the Existing Tickets phone line or stopping by a theme park ticket booth or the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs to complete the ticket modification.

Heather, I hope this information helps your travel party prepare for a trip filled with blue skies and sunshine! If you have any additional questions on how to maximize the magic during your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation, you can always find us right here at planDisney. We're here to help you make the most of your time at The Most Magical Place on Earth!

    See ya real soon,
