Hi Tracy!
Welcome back to planDisney with an excellent question! It is a pleasure to continue to assist you as you plan your next Disney adventure!
As the mother of small children, I know how important it is to take a midday break. My youngest daughter takes naps after lunch, and when my oldest was younger, we always returned to our Disney Resort hotel to hang out by the pool in the afternoon and went back to the parks early in the evening when the temperatures were milder. I hope you are planning to
Be Our Guest during your visit to enjoy magical benefits including
complimentary transportation. This great benefit allows you to safely and conveniently go back to your Disney Resort hotel and later return to the parks without having to worry about driving and parking.
Although you are not visiting with
Park Hopper Option, you are still welcome to exit and re-enter the same theme park during the day. However, please note that the ability to re-enter the park is subject to the park’s capacity limitations. If you view
Theme Park Reservation Availability, you will see that some parks are not available on certain dates in April, so I recommend checking the dates of your visit to plan accordingly. My oldest daughter slept well in her stroller, so if we were at the parks while she wanted to take a nap, I would hang out by shaded and quiet areas, and even inside large stores to escape the heat.
Thank you for sending another question our way, Tracy! I hope this helps you while planning and that you have a magical visit.
Best Disney wishes,
Thiana
