Hello and welcome to planDisney, Val. We're so glad you here to share this question with us. Your visit to the Disneyland Resort is almost here and I'm delighted to help you prepare.
I'm so glad to hear that you are thinking about using the
Anaheim Regional Transportation (ART) buses to get from your hotel to the theme parks. I often take these buses to the parks when I'm staying at a
Good Neighbor Hotel and I find them super convenient and clean. They're also great for saving some steps after a full day at the parks. The ART buses do not require car seats or booster seats, however, they do recommend that all children are in a seat and not standing on the bus. When riding the bus, I've seen many families with small children riding the bus and you only need to make sure that you fold down your stroller upon boarding.
Spooky season is in full effect with
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort. Nothing gets me in a ghoulishly good mood like seeing the giant Mickey pumpkin greet me in Town Square as soon as I walk into Disneyland Park. For some added fun, you and your littles can search the resort for character-themed pumpkins in
Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit. A great place to take a break with some arts and crafts is in Disney California Adventure Park at the
Plaza de la Familia. If you're looking for a place to shake out some energy,
Mickey's Trick and Treat is a great spot for some spooktacular fun.
Val, I hope this is helpful as you are getting ready for your upcoming visit. Here's wishing you and your family a boo-rrific time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
Michelle
