    We are coming to Disney June 24. My 15 year old son doesn't wear shorts could you tell me the best option for type of pants for him?

    Hi Cheryl! Visiting Walt Disney World in the summer will mean dealing with the heat and humidity of Florida. This is also the time for the daily rain showers or storms so being prepared is best before you come.

    Definitely choose light weight material clothing and light colors as they will be the coolest. If your son will not wear shorts then I suggest you look for some moisture wick clothing as that will bring the moisture away from the body and be cooler. Many athletes and runners use this type of clothing and you can find things at every sporting goods store and athletic departments in larger stores. Another suggestion is to consider the "safari" type clothing that you can find in travel catalogs such as Magellans. This is designed for the heat while keeping ones legs covered and protected. Hopefully these suggestions will help your son be comfortable so he too can enjoy this vacation as much as everyone else.
