I am coming to disney july 14-21 with my almost 3 year old daughter. I know the crowds will be big, but I am wondering if there is a way to find out which parks will be the least crowded for that week?

    Hi Mandy!

Thank you for sending me this question directly.

I suggest visiting the independent website TouringPlans.com.  That's the website for the research team behind the tour book "The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World".  They are famous in the Disney fan community for producing a crowd calendar that predicts the crowd levels of the various parks on various days.  They make recommendations on which parks to visit on a specific day and which parks to avoid.  I believe that is exactly what you are looking for.  Their recommendations are based on a lot of math and years of data collection.  As an engineer, I'm a huge fan of their work.

While at TouringPlans, you should look at their touring plans which are basically step by step guides on how to experience the attractions in Walt Disney World.  Basically, what attraction to do first, then what to do next, etc, etc.  As I wrote earlier, there's a lot of math behind their recommendations; they basically turned the theme parks into the time dependent traveling salesman problem if you are familiar with that mathematical problem.  Their touring plans can really come in handy during a busy time at Walt Disney World.

I hope this helps!  Write back with more questions!
