We are coming to Disney for the first time Oct. 23-26 and staying at the Wilderness Lodge. We are excited for MK but kids wondering if pools are still open and warm enough to swim in or are we entering "off season" Thanks

    Hi Helga:

Weather at Disney World in October generally hovers in the mid-to-high 70's, and hurricane season, which starts in the summer, tends to taper off by October. Keep in mind that while the weather can get crisp in late October, it's usually not too cold, and Disney resort and waterpark pools are heated all year long. My kids had a blast swimming at Wilderness Lodge just last week.  Since it looks like you are coming from the North and may be able to withstand any unexpected dips in temperature, it's likely your family will enjoy swimming during your upcoming vacation.

    Enjoy your vacation.
