Hey, howdy, hey, Lindsay and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel where we give advice on how to have a pixie-dust filled vacation. Wahooooo! You are going to Walt Disney World Resort for the first time. I am so excited for your family. Mickey and the gang have loads of surprises waiting for you. With the opportunity to meet your favorite
Disney characters, eat delicious foods, ride
world-famous attractions, and see impressive
Broadway-style shows you will be singing "Zip-a-dee-doo-dah" every day of your vacation.
Collecting pressed coins is a brilliant idea as these souvenirs keep the magic and memories flowing long after your visit to the place "where dreams come true." The easiest and truly most exciting are the
Press Coin machines. With over 225 locations you can take an Abe Lincoln or George Washington and turn it into an unparalleled personal Disney collection. Each machine may have one, three or four design options and currently, these 225 machines will make 897 keepsakes. There are some available off property at Disney's EarPort at the Orlando International Airport, Disney Vacation Club in Vero Beach and Hilton Head, and at the Disney Cruise Line Terminal at Port Canaveral. Coin Press machines and the rollers inside may change without notice. If you do a google search for "Disney World press coins" you will find some great checklists.
Disney Dad Tip: We have found that small cylindrical canisters are perfect for keeping coins organized but you could easily use a resealable sandwich plastic bag.
Lindsay, I know your trip will be amazing as you make many Magical Memories.
