Coming to Disney for the first time in June-July. Were staying at wilderness cabin, I have three kids is there a bathtub or a stand up shower in the cabin. and how far are we from the parks. In the gift shops will they take our purchases back to the cabin.

    Hi Alena!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

The cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort have a full bath.

From your resort you can take a boat to the Magic Kingdom park, which takes approximately 15 minutes.  Buses will transport you to the other theme parks, water parks and Downtown Disney.  The journey times are approximately:  Epcot - 25 minutes; Disney's Hollywood Studios - 30 minutes; Disney's Animal Kingdom - 30 minutes; Downtown Disney - 35 minutes. It is recommended that you allow approximately 60 minutes total travelling time (this includes waiting for the bus, walking from your cabin to the bus stop, etc.).

Any purchases you make at the parks can be delivered to the Fort Wilderness Campground - these will usually be left at the gift shop - probably one of the two trading posts, but enquire about the exact delivery point when you check-in.

If you have any other questions, please come back and ask me - I would be happy to help you plan your first magical vacation!
