Hi Kaprina,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting to plan your first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!
It sounds like you may have purchased one of the
Disney Dining Plans. Each plan is different, so be sure to verify which one you have purchased and check the plan details. My family has used the Disney Dining Plan and the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan. We prefer the Deluxe Dining Plan because of the flexibility it offers.
Chef Mickey's is one of our favorite
character dining experiences with Mickey Mouse although we have also seen Mickey Mouse at
Tusker House Restaurant in Disney's Animal Kingdom. To verify how many meal entitlements a restaurant requires, check the homepage for the restaurant, click on the icon for "Some Dining Plans Accepted" if that icon is visible. A pop-up chart will appear that shows how many meal entitlements the restaurant requires. Currently, both Check Mickey's and Tusker House Restaurants require one meal entitlement per person 3-years and older.
Kaprina, my family loves to dine at a few signature restaurants. Those typically require two meal entitlements per person. California Grill, STK Orlando and Cinderella's Royal Table are all fabulous dining experiences! Just remember that characters at certain dining experiences are subject to change.
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
