We are coming to Disney for our first time on 9/23-26. We are doing one day in each park and i would like to know what is the best day for each park to visit. I have two teenage daughters and we don't know where to begin with planning.

    Hello, Andrea!

Your first visit to Walt Disney World! This is so exciting!

Your plan to stick to one park each day is a great one; you'll save time by not having to spend it traveling from one park to another. We like to head to Magic Kingdom first, since this is where the WDW magic all began. You'll feel something special the minute you step inside the gates, and will be really blown away once you are on Main Street U.S.A., with a spectacular view of Cinderella Castle. Be sure to pick up a complimentary "1st Visit" button from Guest Services so Cast Members can be sure to give you extra special care and good wishes throughout your trip! Although touringplans.com (an unofficial site I use for crowd predictions) states that MK is a park to avoid on 9/23/12, this is only because the crowd level is highest here that day...but it's only a 4 out of 10!)

Send me another question that includes if you're staying in a Walt Disney World resort (Extra Magic Hours are available to WDW resort Guests), if you'll be on a Dining Plan and if you're interested in making Table-Service dining reservations. It's best to coordinate your park days based on park hours, dining reservations and Extra Magic Hours as well. Let me know if you and your daughters enjoy intense or milder rides and I'll be sure to highlight attractions not to miss for each park. I can advise you on dining as well, if you'd like...there's just so much to see and do! :-)

I'd love to help you plan this first, most exciting trip to Walt Disney World!
