We are coming to Disney in just a few weeks! We have the quick service dinning plan. We have 4 adults and 1 child. When we order and the child wants to order from the regular menu, not the kids, are we charged the difference?

    Hi Penny!

Your magical vacation is just a few weeks away, how exciting!  This is about the time I start pulling out the luggage and plan our daily outfits.  Disney is always on the brain in those final days before we visit Mickey.

The Quick-Service Dining Plan is fantastic because it's so flexible!  The meals for adults and children are interchangeable, so adults can order kids meals and children can order adult meals.  I like to think of it as a total pool of credits, so it doesn't matter which meals you purchase when you use them and there is no additional cost to you.

We like to get the most out of our Disney Dining Plan, so we try to spend our credits on the most valuable (AKA expensive) meals as possible.  My favorite Quick-Service meal is located in Magic Kingdom Park is the fajita platter at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe, which I just had yesterday.  It's almost $15 with an additional cost for a drink, which is all included in your dining plan.  Score!

Please stop back by if you have any additional vacation planning questions or if you'd like more Quick-Service meal suggestions.

    Have a magical day!
