We're coming to Disney in December and are staying at a hotel in Disney Springs area, can you link the magic band + with a credit card to pay for things while in the parks, or is that only for Disney World resort hotels?

Hey there, Susan, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question! It’s great to hear you are planning to visit The Walt Disney World Resort soon. With the 50th Anniversary Celebration in full effect, now is a fantastic time to visit the resort! But is there ever a bad time for a vacation? My wife sure doesn’t think so!

Susan, staying in a Disney Springs Area Hotel puts you extra close to the magic of Walt Disney World! An additional perk is being within walking distance to Disney Springs! I love exploring the Disney Springs district to see what new shopping or dining - mostly dining - I can indulge myself in. The great news is that your MagicBand+ can still be used across The Walt Disney World Resort regardless of which hotel you are staying in. Unfortunately, the ability to charge resort purchases to your hotel folio with your MagicBand is only available to Guests staying in Disney Resorts Collection hotels! If you would like an alternative payment method for use across the resort, I recommend considering Disney Gift Cards. Disney Gift Cards are widely accepted across the resort and can help Guests manage their vacation spending budget.

I hope this helps, Susan! If you have more questions while planning your Disney Vacation, stop back by and let me know
