We are coming to Disney in December with the quick service meal plan. There are 3 adults and a 16 year old that shows child. Does she only get kids meals and if so I need to fix that. A 16 year old can not eat chicken strips all the time.

    Hi ya Patricia!

Visiting Walt Disney World Resort with a Disney Dining Plan is the best way to visit! There are so many dining experiences to choose from, I guarantee you will have plenty to eat and enjoy! My family of 4 usually selects the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan as well, especially since my Mouseketeers are always on the go. Their worry is, if they spend too much time eating, they will run out of time to enjoy all of the attractions. The funny thing is, I remember thinking the same thing when I was a kid!

If my sister were traveling with us, they would be content with the children’s menu chicken nuggets. They claim that Disney nuggets, are the best chicken nuggets, especially if they are served with mac and cheese. I usually have to push them to explore their options, even though they are teenagers! I’m sure your 16-year old is wanting to enjoy more than just nuggets though. Hakuna Matata, your 16-year old is actually considered a “Disney Adult”, so they should have an Adult Quick Service Dining Plan instead of the listed child one. I reached out to the royal family of Arendelle and they told me it would be best for you to contact Walt Disney World Resort with your reservation number so they could make that correction for you!

    Bon Appétit!
