Merry Christmas, Aimee! Just like you, I think that it's never too early to talk about the Holly-Jolly Holiday Season. Ho-Ho-Ho! Welcome to
planDisney!
Let me fetch myself a cup of hot cocoa, play some of my favorite Christmas carols, and cuddle up by the fire. That's totally not weird, right? Just talking about Christmas puts me in a really, really good mood! Having said that, let's get started.
Last year, the cherished
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays –– Candlelight Processional made its joyful return to the America Gardens Theatre at EPCOT, and many Disney fans around the world rejoiced when they found out that dining packages were returning alongside the beloved show. Even though there's no way for me to know if the show is coming back or when you'll be able to start booking Candlelight Processional Dining Packages for 2022, I can definitely tell you when and where you'll probably find out!
Last year, the Disney Parks Blog team announced that the Candlelight Processional would be coming back
through a blogpost that was released on September 14, 2021. Even though this special surprise was left out of the
Halfway to the Holidays blogpost that was published on July 12, 2021, we will more than likely find out if the show is to return during the 2022 Walt Disney World Resort Halfway to the Holidays Celebration. This jolly Summer tradition has walked Guests through some of the seasonal offerings that they could expect during some Holiday seasons in the past, so I'm fairly certain that we will get to experience it again this year. I would definitely keep my eyes peeled for new Disney Parks Blog updates around June and July!
Now, as far as the actual booking goes, you will be able to get it done through the Walt Disney World Resort website when the time comes. Simply head over to the website, hover over the Things To Do tab, and click on
Make Reservations. Once here, click on the All Parks & Resorts tab and check off the EPCOT box, and then click on the Dining Experience tab and check off the Dining Events box. When you're done, choose your preferred date, time, and party size at the top of the screen. If there are any reservations available, you will see them pop up right here!
Aimee, in 2021, Guests could only book Candlelight Processional Dining Packages at the Biergarten Restaurant, the Coral Reef Restaurant, the Garden Grill Restaurant, and the Rose & Crown Dining room. Like I mentioned before, there is no way for me to know which restaurants will be available in 2022, but I can make a suggestion for you! If the
Garden Grill Restaurant is available for packages this year, I would highly encourage you to book it. The food is exactly what you'd find during a Christmas dinner, and you'll get to chit-chat with some of your favorite Disney pals as you eat. In my opinion, it really doesn't get any better than that!
If you think of any other questions, you know where to find us. Until then, have a Very Merry day!
Jingle all the way,
Ana Paula
