Coming to Disney this Dec. with DH, DS 10, DS 8, and DD 5. Counting down the days to make ADR :) My question is should we go to CRT OR Akershus and 1900 Park Fare? Thank you for your time

    Hi Nicole!

I have actually been to all 3 restaurants so here's my run-down:

    1. Cinderella's Royal Table is amazing because you are in the middle of the castle! When you arrive you get your picture taken with Cinderella & then 4 other princesses visit as you eat. Girls also receive a little wishing wand while boys get a sword. You also get to keep the photos of you & Cinderella. And the food? Well, I was there for breakfast & it was good, but not as good as I had been expecting. Certainly not royal.

    2. Akershus is more like sitting in a giant banquet hall. You are greeted by Belle & then more princesses visit later. You also receive the photos of you & Belle. The food? I had breakfast here & I loved it (breakfast is my favorite meal)--it's part buffet (muffins, fruit, etc.) & part family style (cheesy potatoes, sausage, bacon & eggs). But I've heard the other meals are not as good because there is traditional Norwegian food which is a little odd to some. :)

    3. 1900 Park Fare is at the Grand Floridian. Again, I was at breakfast here & we saw Pooh, Tigger, Alice, The Mad Hatter & Mary Poppins. (Pooh & Tigger only do breakfast. Cinderella & Prince Charming come to dinner sometimes.) You do get your picture taken here but it is an additional charge to take the pictures home.

Honestly, out of the 3, I enjoyed Akershus the most. I loved the ambiance & the Princess interaction & of course, breakfast. 1900 Park Fare was probably my least favorite because a buffet just seems more casual. You also need to account for park tickets--if you're going to CRT or Akershus, you'll need to be in the park. If you have a day that you're not doing parks, 1900 Park Fare might be the little bit of pixie dust you need!

Regardless, all the characters are fantastic--taking so much time to talk and take pictures, sign autographs, etc. I hope that helps!
