Coming to Disney with DH, DS 21,8,7,5 & DD twin 2yr olds. Debating switching from 2 rooms at Movies to Saratoga tree house. Bad idea with 2 yr olds? How is bus transportation there? Would Old Key west be better? Nice pool? ty so much for all the help!!

Hi Alexis!  There are certainly pros and cons for each of the choices you mentioned. The Saratoga Springs Treehouses will give you the opportunity to have the family together in one large unit making your vacation really special. The units are new and very well done but the big negative is that you must take a bus in the Treehouse area to the Saratoga Springs main area and then transfer to park buses there. Some families feel that is too much time on buses. Those that have rented cars find the units great as they don't depend on the Disney bus transportation for everything.

Old Key West is one of the oldest resorts on property and the first DVC one. The units have been upgraded obviously and I find them very nice. There is an internal bus system here too but you can request a building that is closer to the main check in facility so you are not having to use it. The two bedroom units are very spacious with a king master and a two queen second bedroom. The living area has pull outs and a large kitchen and balcony area.  I love the quiet atmosphere at this resort and find that the location is super in getting to all the parks.  The pool is fine...typical of all the moderate pools...themed but not as extravagant as the deluxe facilities.

I think either the Treehouses or Saratoga Springs would make a better choice for your large family. The rooms at the All Star resorts are small and you wouldn't get that togetherness as you would in the other ones.  Bus transportation is always going to be an issue and if you just resign yourself to knowing you have to wait and make a trip to the parks then you can handle that as well. The guests who come thinking that buses run every five minutes are those that get impatient and it can ruin their vacation with the stress. Traveling with two year olds means you just have to have activities on hand for those moments when you have to wait!
