    Coming to Disney in 11 days!! I was wondering, if you take the ferry from Fort Wilderness to MK do then have to take a shuttle from the dock. If so how long does it take to get from Fort Wilderness to the gates. We have ADR at 8:15 am at Crystal Palace.

    You will be glad to know that the boats from Fort Wilderness and any resort will dock right in front of the entrance to the Magic Kingdom. It will only be a few steps to the security lines!  It is very easy and very convenient and you actually are closer by taking the boats then if you took a bus from any of the resorts!

    The actual boat ride takes about 15-20 minutes but be sure and give yourself more time for waiting for boats and then to get through security and walk to the Crystal Palace.  It isn't fun to start a wonderful day in the park by having to run and get stressed out.  Take the extra time and enjoy your stroll down Main Street. Perhaps you will even have a few minutes to peruse a few of the stores on your way!  My suggestion is to leave no later then 7:30am.
