coming to Disney in 30days. purchased the photo pass +, and there is seven of us. If we split up can we take a pic of the card and use the pic to get the attraction pic put onto our photo pass. Sure some will be on the rides when will not be with them.

    Hi, Lisa!

This is a great question, one we're asked frequently.

While Cast Members will not be able to accept a picture of a PhotoPass+ card in order to get some Attraction pictures into your account, don't be discouraged.  According to the official Facebook page "New! Disney PhotoPass+", there is a way for your family to be able to gather your attraction photos and place them onto your PhotoPass+ account, even if your large party has split up. A Frequently Asked Question asks that very same thing; here's how it was answered:

"If your family splits up and goes on different Attractions you may save your Ride Stub with the photo # and later on stop by the Attraction to claim the photo with your Disney PhotoPass+ card.  Keep in mind that photos are available in our system for only 48 hours after capture; make sure you visit the Attraction to claim your photo within that time period."

We've done just that on several occasions, on a few different trips, and while it was a bit of a hassle to gather those Ride Stubs and return to the Attraction with our PhotoPass+ card later, it was often well worth the extra time. (Some of those photos are hilarious!) Just stress to whomever is holding those extra Ride Stubs that they should be kept in a safe place AND be sure to remember to return to the Attraction within that 48 hour period.

Have a wonderful trip, Lisa! Be sure to smile for the cameras!

Send more questions as you think of them, too; we love to help!
