we are coming to Disney for 5 days in January with our 7 yr. old daughter but not staying on the grounds. My question is, is it worth it to buy a 5 day hopper pass or should we just plan out our five days out in each park. We are planning to do 2 days at MK

Hello, Sheila! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

The Park Hopper option works well for my family and our 'Theme Park' style. We like to arrive at the Theme Parks before they open, take a short break at our resort in the afternoon enjoying the pool during the busiest time of day, and then visit another Theme Park in the evening until the Park closes. We do always stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, as the complimentary transportation makes Park Hopping a breeze.

Every family has their own vacation style, and one Theme Park per day may fit better with your family's needs. If you choose not to add the Park Hopper option I suggest spending two days at Magic Kingdom Park, and one day each at Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.

Wishing you and your family a magical vacation, Sheila!

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
