Hi! Coming to Disney for Christmas with family of 4. Son 19 and daughter 16. Trying to decide between Wilderness Lodge and Port Orleans Riverside. Who does Christmas better for a family like mine? Never been to Disney for Christmas and are VERY excited!

    Hi Mindy,

I'm sure that Disney's Port Orleans Riverside is quite lovely at Christmas time, but I guarantee that no place can surpass Disney's Wilderness Lodge for the holidays.  It is an absolutely stunning place to visit at any time of year, but the Lodge in December is extra special.  Just wait until you see the gorgeous Christmas tree that nearly touches the ceiling of the seven-story lobby in this resort!  Be sure to stop next door to see the charming decorations at the Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, too.  And, as for location, you can't beat being so close to the Magic Kingdom.  It is only a four minute bus ride from the Wilderness Lodge to the Magic Kingdom.  (I timed it myself!)  That sure is convenient, especially if you are headed to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

No matter which resort you choose, have a magical Christmas at Walt Disney World!
